I purchased 7 colours of samples and I was impressed that each bag went a long way so I was able to see how each colour looked in different parts of the rooms. Just about to place my full order and I can't wait to transform my space.

The texture and soft colour of this limewash is just perfect. Easy to apply and mix together and as it doesn’t need to be applied in even strokes, the application is easier. The smooth imperfectness is what I love about it.

Loved the whole process! After thoroughly using the websites chat help I chose shade Byron and wanted to add a little more depth so I dry mixed in sample shades chai and latte before adding water. I think it gave a little depth but in hindsight I wish I added a touch more latte to get a nice inbetween shade of the two (as I found Byron abit too light for what I had in mind). I used the paint brush to add the primer as I found the paint roller went on with a strange texture. Using the X motions and creating ‘clouds’ that met at the edges was the best method to get the achieved look. I did two layers of colour with a third layer in a specialised patten on each wall to add a third layer of texture. It’s so cool how it changes with different lighting and the texture it brings adds a unique touch to an otherwise plain painted wall. Highly recommend and now that I’m more confident with it will definitely go for some deeper shades for other rooms!

Easy to apply, dries clear and is almost imperceptible except for a slight sheen. Has fixed the problem of powdery lime behind my pillow without changing the look of the wall.

Absolutely stunning, it's gives a soft unique look to the lounge. I used Bryon and can't wait to use Dove in the bedroom. Highly recommend. Well worth the extra effort rather than a boring flat paint

The testers were extremely easy to mix. I used plastic food containers to mix each shade in and with the Dalray block brush applied them in X motions. As the mixtures thickened I did prefer the stronger texture the finish gave but I did struggle to know exactly how to blend and finesse the edges of the thicker mixture.

The thicker texture can definitely take a little practice to work with, particularly when blending the edges. The criss-cross brushstrokes are what help create the natural variation and movement in the finish, so it’s perfectly normal for it to take a little time to get a feel for how the mixture responds as you apply it.

I am helping a client renovate a 1926 red brick residence. A lot of the old hard plaster has been removed as it was cracked and falling to expose the red bricks beneath. I used three different Dalray samples to test ease of application, coverage and colour over bare brick and the product did very well. However the client has decided that they prefer the rustic nature, lively colours and interesting textures of the exposed brick rather than a single limewash product. I couldn't fault the product, but the client wants to move in a different direction.
